Exploration and demonstration of smart urban and rural areas

 The construction of the industrial park adopts a brand-new concept, integrating the Internet and the Internet of Things to achieve automation and intelligence in urban life services, security and prevention, traffic management, statistical billing management of water, electricity, and gas, and more. It represents a bold attempt and a leading demonstration.

Informatization has become an effective means for parks to transform government functions, serve the people's livelihood, promote economic development, and facilitate industrial transformation and upgrading. In 2017, the park continued to focus on the goals and tasks of the "13th Five-Year" informatization plan, further deepening the informatization construction of departments such as administrative approval, market supervision, and comprehensive law enforcement.

Focusing on key areas such as building a higher level of open cooperation, industrial optimization and upgrading, international innovation drive, administrative system reform, and comprehensive urban governance, Suzhou Industrial Park annually identifies a batch of key reform tasks and systematically and collaboratively promotes various reforms to achieve tangible results. Currently, a total of 48 reform and innovation measures have been formulated, among which a number of reform pilot results have been replicated and promoted at different levels of the country, province, and city, effectively serving as a "test field" for reform and opening up.
